Prerequisite - Before continuing, please make sure your Salesforce instance is connected to Datalix and you have mapped your Salesforce Account fields to Datalix. If you need help with either of these prerequisites, please check out their respective Help Articles.
Step 1 - create a Report in Salesforce that will contain the Account records that you want Datalix to analyze. Be sure to include the Account ID field as a column in your Salesforce Report.
Step 2 - Click on Bulk Analyzer.

Step 3 - Click on New Bulk.

Step 4 - Select the Salesforce Report that contains the websites you want to analyze and click Next. Note: If you cannot find the report, try searching for it using the Search Report function.

Step 5 - Verify that the correct amount of records are displayed and that the Datalix fields are properly mapped to their corresponding Salesforce fields. If you see incorrect or missing mappings here, please check your Datalix Salesforce settings.

Step 6 - Toggle on the data that you would like Datalix to identify and then click Start Bulk Analyzer.

Step 7 - Datalix will start to analyze the records in your report and will display the progress on the top of the screen. Note: if you have a lot of records in your report, please be patient. You can leave the Bulk Analyzer and return to it later (the job will not stop unless you choose to cancel it).

Step 8 - When Datalix is done analyzing all of the records, it will display 100% on the progress bar on the right and also a green banner saying it's Finished. You will also hear a chime on your desktop/laptop.
Step 9 - click on the Push to Salesforce button to push the results to your Salesforce instance. If you want to check the results before you push them to Salesforce, you can export the results to CSV to inspect them. Note: if the Bulk Update on Salesforce button is not clickable, please ensure that your Salesforce instance is connected to Datalix and that you have turned on the toggle to Write to Salesforce in the Datalix Salesforce Settings.

Step 10 - Datalix will notify you of the progress of pushing the results to Salesforce. If you are updating a lot of Salesforce records, please be patient.

Step 11 - When Datalix notifies you that it is done updating Salesforce, you can refresh your Salesforce Report or the records that were analyzed to confirm they have been updated successfully. Note: if your records were not updated correctly or you received Salesforce update errors, please contact us on Live Chat. 😃
